| Does Tools-Extract-Flat Pattern work? I'm trying to use it; I have a spline-cylindrical solid (a planar spline shape extruded; it's a streamline tube). The solid checks with no problems. I can get the extract routine to work-- sort of-- but I get [i]two[/i] flat patterns, neither of which are correct. They look "about" right, but the distance between the two parallel edges doesn't agree with the length of the spline created by intersecting a plane with the surface. |
