Now that home licenses have been retired. I have to purchase two licenses if I want to use Pro on both my PC and my laptop. Is this really the case?

Andy, I had the same issue and the best work around for me is to use the license-wizard, you don't have to purchase another license. When I'm done working on my desktop start the LicenseWizard and I return the license using the manage current license activation button. Then when I'm in front of my laptop I use the activate a purchased license button. Make sure you have your license ID number handy on both computers. The key is not to forget to return the license before you need it on the other computer. Hans

...you do need internet to do what I wrote above. I think there is another option possible that doesn't need internet access, though I'm not 100% sure on that.

The key is that last line; to remember to release it from the PC you are moving it from. I KNEW I would forget this step and sure enough, I returned to work on Monday and realized the license was still on my home PC 🤦‍♂️. Time for the string on the finger routine.

Andy, You cannot use a license on 2 computers at the same time but you can use Email Authentication on the home computer. Here are the steps for setting up email authentication. ***You would need to return the license on the office computer, then when you open KeyCreator on the home computer you can enter your email to use the Email Authentication to start KeyCreator. The license on the office computer has to be assigned to your email to use the Email Authentication at home. You can assign it under the More Details in the support login for the license. 1 - Log into your account here: https://support.kubotek3d.com/login.aspx 2 - Select Account Admin>Licenses 3 - Find the license and from the Assignee menu, choose the email address you want to assign the license to. Please note that the license cannot be currently activated on a system in order for email authentication to work. Here is more information: https://help.kubotekkosmos.com/KeyCreator/2026SP1/kcl201
